Michael Proffitt, the Chief Advisor at Blue Ocean Corporation, is a world renowned logistics and supply chain leader. He is the Former CEO of Dubai Logistics City.

Michael has led global teams to support companies and projects in Europe, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Mexico, India, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Iran. These projects have included the development of Free Trade Zones in Dubai, Mexico, India and Azerbaijan.

Michael has also been a member of the Management Board of Dubai World Central (DWC) from 2004 to 2009, the initial phase of planning and development for this project. He is involved in several representative bodies including the Director of the Supply Chain and Logistics Group in Dubai, a member of the Advisory Board for the Cranfield Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain and a non-Executive Director of ECA International.

Michael is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and is a qualified Accountant.
