About the MASCE Certification
Mastering Agricultural Supply Chain Excellence (MASCE) builds professionals who can move agricultural produce from farms to the right markets, at the right quality and cost, while improving farmer realisation and reducing avoidable losses. Participants learn how to plan, source, preserve, move and sell agri-food products across grain, fresh-produce, dairy, poultry, fisheries and processing chains.
The programme adds supply chain capability to agricultural knowledge: procurement, harvest-linked planning, post-harvest operations, cold chains, logistics, food safety, finance, digital technology and market development. It closes with an integrated capstone in which each learner redesigns a real commodity supply chain and defends its commercial viability.
The 30 modules, 60 learning hours in total, sit in four parts: Part I, Understand the Agricultural Value Chain; Part II, Plan, Source and Preserve Value; Part III, Deliver Safely and Profitably; and Part IV, Digitise, Improve and Build Enterprises.
Assessment is by a 400-question examination bank aligned to UK FHEQ Level 5, drawing scenario and applied-judgement questions from every module, together with the integrated capstone project developed across the programme. Successful completion leads to the Mastering Agricultural Supply Chain Excellence (MASCE) certificate awarded by Blue Ocean Academy.
