About the HIHHSE Program
Hazard identification is the first control in any safety system, and it fails when teams look only for the obvious. Blue Ocean Academy's HAZID program trains operational and engineering teams to run structured hazard identification studies, from preparation and node selection through guidewords, recording and follow up of actions. Delivered in-house at the client's premises or live virtual, it leaves teams able to plan, facilitate and close out a HAZID study on their own sites.
What You Will Learn
- Understand the purpose and scope of a HAZID study
- Prepare study terms of reference, nodes and documentation
- Apply guideword and checklist techniques to identify hazards
