Supply Chain, Logistics and Procurement Training in Hyderabad
Our Hyderabad centre is at Cyber Crown in Hitech City, Madhapur. The supply chains around it are unlike anywhere else we teach in India, because this city's defining industry moves products that fail if they get warm.
Life sciences shapes the local supply chain
Telangana's own Life Sciences Policy describes Genome Valley as "the first and the largest organized life sciences cluster in Asia, with an area of 600 square kilometers", and as "the first and only systematically planned and developed cluster dedicated to life sciences", distinguishing it from states where such companies sit scattered across general industrial estates.
The state has since announced a Genome Valley Phase-II across 300 acres with an investment of ₹2,000 crore, positioned, in the government's words, "very close to Hyderabad International Airport". A Hyderabad Pharma City has been planned across "over 3,000 acres… in Mucherla village", with the policy noting that "railway connectivity will be provided to the Pharma City". That site was recommended as a National Investment and Manufacturing Zone by the Centre's High Level Committee in December 2019; final approval is not something we can confirm, so we will not claim it.
What matters for a supply chain professional is the character of the work rather than the acreage. Pharmaceutical distribution means validated cold chains, serialisation, batch traceability, regulated storage and distribution practice, and a tolerance for error close to zero.
The freight picture, in hard numbers
Hyderabad's air freight is growing quickly, and the Airports Authority of India publishes the figures.
For July 2026, Rajiv Gandhi International handled 18,070.8 tonnes of freight, against 15,032.9 tonnes in July 2025 — a rise of 20.2%. Across April to July of 2026-27 it handled 68,750.9 tonnes against 57,170.0 tonnes, up 20.3%.
A twenty per cent year-on-year increase in air cargo is the kind of number that changes hiring. On the surface side, CONCOR — the Government of India container PSU — operates an inland container depot at Sanathnagar.
At policy level, the Telangana State Logistics Guidelines 2021-2026, issued under G.O. Ms.No.17 of August 2021, record that the state "identified 14 thrust sectors, Logistics being one of them", and commit to encouraging "Multi Modal Logistic Parks (MMLPs), Integrated Logistic Parks, Large Scale Storage infrastructure" and "rail connected ICDs/ Dry Ports". Hyderabad is one of 35 nationally approved MMLP locations, though as of April 2025 it was not among the five under development.
One further piece of local procurement reality: TS-iPASS, enacted as the Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self-Certification System Act 2014, sets statutory approval windows "varying from 1 day to a maximum of 30 days depending upon on the complexity of the approval". If you manage supplier onboarding or plant expansion here, that is a genuine planning input.
Where you will sit your exam
Hyderabad has a Pearson Professional Center at Banjara Hills, about 4.9 miles from our Hitech City centre — a Pearson-operated site rather than only third-party centres. ASCM exams including CPIM, CSCP and CLTD are delivered through Pearson VUE or online proctoring.
Do confirm your specific credential at your chosen centre first: Pearson VUE notes that "some exams for APICS require special arrangements and may not be available at all of the test centers listed", and per-exam availability is only visible once you are logged in as a candidate.
For CIPS, India's only approved exam centre is in Bengaluru, about 500 km away — the closest of any of our India centres apart from Kochi, though still not close enough to be practical for most people. Candidates here normally sit under remote invigilation. We are a CIPS approved study centre for India registered for distance learning and we book your exams. Remember that Diploma-level Constructed Response papers run only in March, May, July and November.

Hyderabad is the one city in our India network where we routinely discuss CLTD and CSCP in the same conversation. A pharmaceutical distribution network needs both the logistics depth and the whole-chain view.
A note on claims you will see elsewhere
You will find pages describing Hyderabad's airport as holding particular pharmaceutical cold-chain certifications, quoting capacity figures and temperature ranges. We tried to verify those against primary sources and could not — the relevant pages are no longer available. We have left them out rather than repeat them. The freight figures above come from the Airports Authority of India and can be checked.
Similarly, you will see a widely repeated claim about the share of the world's vaccines produced here. That statement comes from the Government of Telangana. It may well be right, but it is a state-government assertion rather than an independently verified figure, so we are not going to present it as fact on a training page.

The certifying body sets the syllabus and awards the credential; we prepare you for the exam. Any completion certificate we issue is for our own training. ASCM credentials are awarded by ASCM, CIPS qualifications by CIPS.
