How is the PMP exam built, and how do you plan study around a job in Kuwait?
The PMP exam has 180 questions and runs 240 minutes, with two optional 10 minute breaks. Pearson VUE delivers it at test centers or online proctored.
The July 2026 domain weights are People 33%, Process 41% and Business Environment 26%. Process carries the most weight at 41%, and People comes next at 33%. About 60% of the items are adaptive, agile or hybrid. Question styles include multiple choice, multiple response, matching, hotspot and fill in the blank. PMI does not publish the passing score, so you cannot aim at a number.
Plan around your work calendar by splitting your preparation by domain, with one block of practice questions for each. Do timed sets of questions on a weekend, so you get used to sitting for 240 minutes.
Do your projects qualify you for PMP certification in Kuwait?
PMI decides eligibility, and the rules can change, so confirm them on the PMI site. Your education sets how many months of project experience PMI asks for.
- A bachelor's degree goes with 36 months running projects.
- A secondary diploma goes with 60 months.
- PMI now lists four paths of 60, 48, 36 or 24 months, depending on your education level.
- The experience must fall within the last 10 years.
- You also need 35 contact hours of project management education, which an active CAPM waives.
The Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects replaced the Partnerships Technical Bureau to promote public private partnerships, according to MEED in 2015. If your work supports public private projects, keep dated records of your role in each one, because PMI asks about project history.

It does not suit you if you have not yet run any project work, because PMI's experience requirement applies regardless of the course. It also does not suit you if you only need one narrow skill. For that, pick a self paced course from the list below.
