About the POCPUE Program
Blue Ocean Academy's Power Plant Operations and Control program builds the operating knowledge a generation team needs to run a plant safely and efficiently. Participants study thermodynamic cycles, boilers, turbines, generators, auxiliary systems, control loops, startup and shutdown sequences, load dispatch and fault response. Delivered in-house at the client's premises or live virtual, the program helps operators, engineers and shift leaders read plant behavior, hold parameters steady and respond correctly when conditions change.
