Who takes project management courses in Egypt
Engineers make up the largest share of our Egyptian project management learners: civil, mechanical and electrical engineers at contractors, consultancies and developers in Greater Cairo who have been managing sites and packages for years and now want the formal credential. The second group is IT and software professionals in Smart Village, Maadi and the New Capital's technology zone who lead delivery for banks, telecom operators and export clients and need both PMP and agile vocabulary. The third group is professionals from marketing, HR, operations and the public sector who manage projects without the title and want a structured method.

PMP or a short course: how to choose
- Choose PMP if you already have project experience and want the credential that Egyptian contractors, multinationals and Gulf employers ask for by name. At the time of writing, PMI requires 36 months of project experience with a four year degree, or 60 months with a secondary diploma, plus 35 hours of project management education. Formats and pricing in EGP
Self paced courses are recorded and available from the day you enrol, with the access period shown on the course page. The PMP program runs live online with an instructor over video, usually on weekday evenings or weekends on Cairo time, with recordings available for revision. Classroom PMP batches run at our New Cairo office in the Fifth Settlement when enough learners in Greater Cairo register.
Prices on the course pages are in EGP for visitors from Egypt and reflect any discount applied at the time of writing. The course page states what the fee includes, and for PMP it includes the course, the exam and the certification fee; PMI's own fees in US dollars apply only if you study on your own and pay PMI directly, while retakes, renewal and optional PMI membership are separate. Prices can change, so confirm the current EGP price before you budget.
Employer sponsorship is common for PMP. Contractors, engineering consultancies, banks and software companies in Egypt regularly fund it for engineers and team leads they want to promote, and we issue quotations and tax invoices in EGP addressed to the employer. Careers and salaries in Egypt
The ranges below describe what job postings in Egypt typically show at the time of writing and vary a great deal by sector. Project coordinator and junior project engineer roles in Cairo are commonly advertised at EGP 12,000 to 22,000 per month. Project managers with PMP and five or more years of experience generally see EGP 35,000 to 70,000 at contractors, consultancies and software companies, with banks and multinationals toward the top. Senior project managers, PMO leads and program managers are often in the range of EGP 70,000 to 120,000, and program directors on the large national projects can earn more, frequently with site allowances or bonuses.
PMP is one of the most common requirements in Gulf job postings for project roles, and a large share of our Egyptian PMP graduates use it to secure a position with a regional contractor or consultancy.
