About the QQRHSE Program
Quantitative and Qualitative Risk Assessments teaches teams to choose the right assessment method for the decision in front of them and to run it properly. The program covers hazard identification, qualitative matrices, semi quantitative scoring, consequence modeling, frequency analysis, bowtie diagrams and risk tolerability criteria. Participants learn to challenge weak assumptions, present results honestly and turn numbers into control decisions. Delivered in-house at the client's premises or live virtual for engineering and HSE teams.
What You Will Learn
- Understand when qualitative and quantitative methods apply
- Apply structured hazard identification techniques to real operations
- Build risk matrices with defensible likelihood and consequence scales
- Analyze failure frequencies using event and fault trees
- Evaluate consequence modeling outputs and their limitations
- Design bowtie diagrams linking threats, barriers and consequences
- Assess results against risk tolerability and ALARP criteria
- Communicate risk findings clearly to decision makers
