CISCP Certification Cost in Egypt: Exam Fees, Training and Total Budget in EGP
Read this guide in Arabic: اقرأ بالعربية
Let us give you the short answer first, because most people reading this are deciding whether to spend their own money. For a professional in Egypt who certifies through us, the total cost of CISCP at the time of writing is EGP 35,699 for the self paced route (the standard price is EGP 45,899 and it is currently discounted) or EGP 45,900 for live online or classroom delivery. That single fee covers the course, the examination and the certification. There is no separate exam invoice from IPSCMI for your first attempt.
The details below decide whether you budget well or badly.
What IPSCMI itself charges
The International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Institute (IPSCMI) in the United States is the body behind CISCP and its manager level sibling, CISCM. Its CISCP page describes the eligibility rules and the 80 question, three hour exam, but at the time of writing it does not print a fee on that page; payment details sit on a separate page, and candidates in countries with a partner institute are generally pointed to the partner. Direct enrollment with the institute is billed in US dollars, which at roughly 50 EGP per USD at the time of writing makes any dollar figure painful for an Egyptian paying from a local salary.
This is why the program route matters so much for Egyptians. When you certify through our Certified International Supply Chain Professional program, the exam is administered through Blue Ocean Academy at the end of the program and the fee you pay in EGP already covers the course, the examination and the certification. You are not asked to buy an annual membership first, which is a real difference from ASCM, whose CSCP pricing comes with an optional membership upgrade.
Blue Ocean training price in EGP
Two routes, two prices, both shown in EGP on the course page when you visit from Egypt:
- Self paced: EGP 35,699 at the time of writing. The standard price is EGP 45,899 and the current figure is a discount, so it can move.
- Live online or classroom in New Cairo (when a batch is scheduled): EGP 45,900.
The difference of roughly EGP 10,000 buys you an instructor, a cohort and fixed sessions. We say this plainly to candidates: if you have ever bought a self paced course and not finished it, pay the extra and join a live batch. If you are disciplined and your evenings are unpredictable because of shift work at a plant or a port, self paced is the better value.
Either way the outline runs to about 48 hours across 16 modules and includes the knowledge checks and practice assessments you need before the exam.
Study materials, retakes and renewal
Materials. The course materials, knowledge checks and practice assessments are part of the program. You do not need to import a textbook. Some candidates buy a general supply chain reference for background reading, which is optional and usually under EGP 2,000 from Cairo bookshops or as an ebook.
Retakes. IPSCMI does not publish a retake fee on its CISCP page at the time of writing, and we would rather not quote a number we cannot point to. Ask your advisor what a second attempt would cost before you sit, and keep a small contingency.
Renewal. IPSCMI has a recertification process, and its current terms and any fee are published on the institute's website. We do not want to state a cycle or an amount that may have changed by the time you read this, so treat renewal as a modest future cost and check the position when you certify.

If you plan to continue to the manager level, the Certified International Supply Chain Manager program is priced the same way in Egypt at the time of writing: EGP 35,699 self paced or EGP 45,900 live online or classroom. Many of our Cairo candidates do CISCP and CISCM as a combined fast track; ask the advisors how the two are scheduled together.
How employer sponsorship changes the picture
A large share of our Egyptian CISCP candidates do not pay themselves. Banks such as CIB, NBE and Banque Misr run procurement and vendor management teams with annual training budgets. Multinationals with regional offices in New Cairo, Smart Village and Maadi usually have a learning plan where a certification request goes through your line manager and HR. Large Egyptian groups, including Elsewedy, Orascom, Hassan Allam and Talaat Moustafa, sponsor supply chain staff when the training is tied to a project or a promotion.
Three practical notes. First, ask early; most budgets are set in the fourth quarter for the following year. Second, expect a training agreement: a clause that you repay part of the fee if you leave within a year or two is normal in Egypt, so read it. Third, if your department can send three or more people, ask us about a dedicated batch; a closed group in your own office or online is often the easiest way to get a sponsorship approved, because the training manager sees a team outcome rather than one person's CV.
CISCP versus CSCP cost in EGP
The comparison most self funded Egyptians make is with ASCM's CSCP. Our Certified Supply Chain Professional program is EGP 185,500 for live online or classroom in Egypt at the time of writing, exam included, and ASCM's own bundle of learning system, exam and a second chance exam is listed at roughly USD 2,620 to 3,650 depending on membership, which is about EGP 131,000 to 182,500 at roughly 50 EGP per USD before any tuition. CISCP is a fraction of that. Whether the cheaper credential is the right one for you is a different question, and we answer it honestly in CISCP vs CSCP in Egypt.
Before you pay
Confirm you meet the eligibility rules first; the requirements guide covers degrees and experience letters. Then decide on the format, check whether your employer will contribute, and look at the discounted self paced price while it lasts. Every CISCP guide we have written for Egypt sits on the CISCP certification guides for Egypt hub.
Frequently asked questions
How much does CISCP cost in Egypt?
At the time of writing, EGP 35,699 self paced (standard EGP 45,899, currently discounted) or EGP 45,900 live online or classroom through Blue Ocean Academy in Egypt. The fee covers the course, the exam and the certification.
Is the CISCP exam fee paid separately to IPSCMI?
Not when you certify through our program in Egypt. The exam is administered through Blue Ocean Academy at the end of the program and the first attempt is included in the EGP fee. Direct candidates dealing with IPSCMI abroad pay in US dollars.
Can I pay for CISCP in Egyptian pounds?
Yes. The course page shows EGP prices to visitors from Egypt and our New Cairo office invoices in EGP. If an employer or a foreign parent company is paying, tell your advisor so the paperwork is issued in the right name.
Does the CISCP price include CISCM?
No. CISCM is a separate program at the manager level, priced at EGP 35,699 self paced or EGP 45,900 live online or classroom in Egypt at the time of writing. Many candidates take the two as a combined fast track, so ask how they are scheduled together.
What does a CISCP retake cost?
IPSCMI does not publish a retake fee on its CISCP page at the time of writing, so we will not guess. Ask your advisor before you sit and keep a small contingency. Attending the full program and doing the practice assessments is the best way to avoid needing one.
Is CISCP cheaper than CSCP in Egypt?
Considerably. CISCP is EGP 35,699 to 45,900 with us at the time of writing, while our CSCP program is EGP 185,500, exam included, and ASCM's own bundle runs to roughly USD 2,620 to 3,650 before tuition. Cost is often the deciding factor for self funded Egyptian learners.
