Who takes finance courses in Egypt
Two very different groups use this page. The first is finance professionals: accountants, financial analysts, treasury and credit staff, internal auditors and finance managers at banks, manufacturers, real estate developers, telecom operators and the shared service centres in Cairo and Alexandria. They want to move from recording transactions to planning, analysis and decision support, or to formalise what they already do with a recognised certification. The second group is managers who are not in finance: sales, operations, HR, project and supply chain managers, engineers running sites in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, and owners of small and medium companies who need to understand profit, cash flow and budgets to do their own jobs well.
A third, smaller group is accountants and consultants who implement Zoho Books and the wider Zoho Finance suite for Egyptian small and medium companies, and want certification to prove it.
Certification or short course: how to choose
- If you are not a finance professional, start with Finance for Non Finance Professionals, listed at EGP 30,599 at the time of writing. It teaches you to read the three statements, question a budget and build a business case without accounting jargon. Fundamentals of Finance is free at the time of writing and is a good preview.
- If you work in finance and want a credential, the Certified International Finance Professional from ACI, listed at EGP 35,699 self paced and EGP 45,900 live online, covers financial analysis, planning, treasury and control, with the exam administered through Blue Ocean Academy.
- If you need one skill now, choose the matching Mastering course: Mastering Budgeting and Forecasting for annual planning season, Mastering Working Capital Management for cash pressure, Mastering Modern Audit Practices for internal audit teams, or Mastering Mergers and Acquisitions for deal work.

Our rule of thumb from Cairo consultations: managers outside finance need one course, not a certification; finance staff aiming for manager need the certification plus one specialised course in the area their employer values most.
Formats and pricing in EGP
The Mastering courses and the self paced version of the ACI certification are recorded and start the day you enrol, with the access period shown on the course page. The live online certification and Zoho batches run with an instructor over video, usually in the evening or at the weekend on Cairo time, with recordings available. Classroom batches run at our New Cairo office in the Fifth Settlement when enough learners register for the same program.
Prices on the course pages are in EGP for visitors from Egypt and reflect any discount applied at the time of writing. The course page states what the fee includes; for the ACI program the exam is administered through us. Prices can change, so confirm the current EGP figure with an advisor before you budget.
Employer sponsorship is common. Banks, manufacturers and developers in Egypt regularly fund finance training for accountants moving into analysis roles and for managers outside finance who own budgets, and we issue quotations and tax invoices in EGP addressed to the employer. Finance for Non Finance Professionals is frequently bought for a whole management team at a group rate.
Careers and salaries in Egypt
The ranges below describe what job postings in Egypt typically show at the time of writing and vary by sector and company size. Junior accountant roles in Cairo and Alexandria are commonly advertised at EGP 8,000 to 15,000 per month. Senior accountants, financial analysts and internal auditors with three to six years of experience generally see EGP 18,000 to 35,000, with banks and multinationals toward the top. Finance managers, planning and analysis leads and controllers are often in the range of EGP 45,000 to 90,000, and finance directors and chief financial officers at large Egyptian groups and multinationals can exceed EGP 150,000 with bonuses.
For managers outside finance, the return is different: the ability to defend a budget and read a profit and loss statement is what most often separates candidates for general manager and head of department roles.

Do these courses cover Egyptian tax and accounting standards?
The programs teach international practice in budgeting, analysis, audit and financial management, which applies in Egypt because Egyptian standards are aligned with IFRS. They are not tax preparation courses; our advisors will tell you honestly if your need is better served elsewhere.
