The short answer

If you manage a team or a budget and finance is not your profession, start with Finance for Non-Finance Professionals; if you want the discipline from the start, Fundamentals of Finance. If finance is your profession, pick the programme that matches the job in front of you this quarter: statements, budgets, cash, strategy, a deal, an audit or the new AI tools. If you want letters, the ACI Certified International Finance Professional is the one examined designation here. If you came for CFA, CMA, CA, ACCA or an accounting software course, read the next section and save your time.

What we do not teach

We do not offer CFA, CMA (either the US or the Indian institute's), CA, ACCA or CPA preparation, and we do not offer bookkeeping, Tally or accounting-software courses. Those are large, well-served markets with their own institutes, and a page that pretended our programmes were substitutes would mislead you. Our finance courses teach financial management as managers and finance professionals practise it; they are not accountancy qualifications.

For non-finance managers

Finance for Non-Finance Professionals builds practical financial literacy for managers, department heads, project leads, sales leaders and operations professionals: financial statements, how revenue and cost behave, margins, cash, budgets and the questions to ask finance. Fundamentals of Finance goes a level deeper at Foundation level: statements and accounting logic, revenue and cost drivers, ratios, working capital, budgeting and variance analysis, investment evaluation and communicating with stakeholders. Take the first if you need to hold your own in the monthly review; take the second if you want to understand why the numbers behave as they do. The CXO-level financial view is in the CFO Excellence course on leadership courses in India.

For finance professionals

Mastering P&L and Balance Sheets is interpretation at speed: the links between the three statements, margins, working capital, ratio analysis, red flags and explaining it to executives. Mastering Budgeting and Forecasting covers budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, scenario planning and integrated financial planning for FP&A and finance business partners. Mastering Working Capital Management is the cash course: working capital strategy, the cash conversion cycle, receivables, billing and collections, inventory, payables, cash forecasting and cross-functional alignment. Mastering Strategic Financial Management takes finance managers beyond reporting into investment evaluation, capital structure, risk and enterprise value. Mastering Mergers and Acquisitions walks the full deal journey: rationale, buyer profiles, synergies, screening, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, integration and post-deal performance. Mastering Modern Audit Practices is for internal auditors and finance controllers: risk-based auditing, internal controls, fraud detection, forensic evidence, data analytics and audit communication. Mastering AI in Finance covers where AI improves forecasting, reporting, analysis and controls, and where judgement stays with the professional. Mastering Ethics in Finance covers ethical reporting, professional judgement, conflicts of interest, confidentiality, fraud prevention and governance, at Foundation level and for everyone who signs a number.

The ACI designation

The American Certification Institute's Certified International Finance Professional develops practical financial management and analytical skills for budgeting, cost control and business decision-making, delivered as a live online cohort with an examination leading to the ACI designation. Exam format and what the designation states are on the course page. It is the choice for finance and non-finance managers who want an examined credential rather than a certificate of completion.

What you receive

A Blue Ocean certificate of completion for each of the ten programmes; the ACI designation for the Certified International Finance Professional on passing its examination. None is an accountancy qualification or a licence to practise, and we do not describe them as such.

Enrolment in India

The ten programmes are self-paced and start when you enrol; the CIFP runs as a live online cohort with recordings. Tuition is shown in Indian rupees on the course pages for visitors in India; ACI's fees are separate. Advisors are available in person at our New Delhi, Noida, Pune, Hyderabad and Kochi centres. Companies run finance literacy for managers through corporate training in India.
