Supply Chain, Logistics and Procurement Training in Delhi
Our Delhi centre sits at Connaught Place, a few minutes from the ministries, public-sector undertakings and corporate head offices that make this city India's procurement capital. That shapes what we teach here and who turns up to learn it.
Why Delhi is a procurement city first
Most Indian cities run supply chains. Delhi decides how public money buys things.
The Government e Marketplace, GeM, is the mandated route for central ministries, state departments, public-sector enterprises and autonomous bodies. In FY 2023-24 it fulfilled, in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's own words, "62.86 Lakh orders worth approx. ₹ 4.03 Lakh Crore in GeM GMV", with "more than 1.5 Lakh Government buyers" active on it. The buyers are spread across India, but the people who write the policy, run the ministries and manage the largest central contracts are concentrated here.
That is why our Delhi cohorts skew towards procurement rather than warehouse operations. If your work involves tenders, bid evaluation, contract performance or GFR compliance, you are the audience this centre was built for.
The freight side of the same city
Delhi is also a customs and cargo hub, which is easy to forget in an inland city.
ICD Tughlakabad is described by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs as "the biggest inland dry port of North India", handling "around 2,50,000 TEUs of Exim Cargo" and "well connected with four full length rail lines to Gateway ports such as Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Chennai, Mundra". CBIC goes further, calling it "the largest multi-modal centre in the Indian sub-continent".
Add the Delhi Customs Zone, which spans ICD Tughlakabad, ICD Patparganj, the Air Cargo Complex and the airport, and Indira Gandhi International — "the largest cargo handling airport in India" according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and you have a city where EXIM documentation and customs procedure are daily work rather than theory.
Where you will sit your exam
This is the practical question most providers skip, and Delhi has the best answer in India.
For ASCM credentials — CPIM, CSCP and CLTD — exams are delivered through Pearson VUE test centres or online proctoring. Delhi's locator returns around 30 centres, and one of them is a Pearson Professional Center on Barakhamba Road, roughly 0.4 miles from our Connaught Place office. If you want to sit in a formal test centre rather than at home under remote invigilation, you can walk to it.
For CIPS, the position is different and worth knowing before you enrol. CIPS lists only one approved exam centre in the whole of India, and it is in Bengaluru. Most CIPS candidates in India therefore sit under remote invigilation, which CIPS supports — its guidance is that "all our exams are computer-based and you can choose to take your exams at an exam centre or remotely". We are a CIPS approved study centre for India, registered for distance learning, and we book your exams for you.
One CIPS detail that affects planning: exams run five times a year, in March, May, July, September and November, with a January series as well. But the September and January series are Objective Response only — CIPS notes that "CIPS centre venues and CR exams are not available for this series". Since the essay-style Constructed Response format is what Diploma level uses, a Level 4 student really has four usable windows, not six.
Aviation training at this centre
Blue Ocean is an IATA Authorized Training Center, and New Delhi is the listed India location. IATA courses taught here award an IATA Certificate of Completion. That is a training certificate, not a licence or a regulatory approval, and we would rather you hear that from us than discover it later.
Which credential suits a Delhi role
| If your work is | Consider | Because |
|---|---|---|
| Public procurement, tenders, GeM, GFR compliance | CIPS Level 4 Diploma, or CIPP | The procurement ladder that public-sector and multinational employers name |
| Contract and category management | CIPS Level 5, or CIPM | Moves you from placing orders to owning supplier strategy |
| EXIM, customs, freight documentation | CLTD, or the shipping and freight forwarding route | Matches the ICD and air-cargo work in this city |
| End-to-end supply chain planning | CSCP | Breadth across the whole chain rather than one function |
| Production and inventory control | CPIM | Better suited to manufacturing than to Delhi's service and government base |
CPIM is on that list deliberately. It is an excellent credential, but its subject matter is production planning. If you work in a ministry or a trading company, CSCP or the CIPS route will serve you better, and we will tell you so when you call.
How we teach here
Courses at this centre run both online and in the classroom at Connaught Place, depending on the programme. Which credentials are available in which format changes over time, so ask when you enquire rather than assuming from this page.
What does not change: the certifying body sets the syllabus and awards the credential, and we prepare you for it. Any certificate of completion we issue is for the training we delivered. CIPS qualifications are awarded by CIPS, ASCM credentials by ASCM, IATA certificates by IATA.

Nearest Pearson VUE test centre: Barakhamba Road, about 0.4 miles away.
Speak to a course advisor and tell them what you actually do at work. The right credential follows from that, not from a brochure.
Also serving the wider NCR
Our Noida centre at Film City, Sector 16A serves the manufacturing and export side of the NCR economy, which is a different business from Delhi's public-sector buying. If your work is in electronics manufacturing, SEZ exports or the Dadri freight corridor, start there instead.
