Read this page in Arabic: اقرأ بالعربية
This page gathers every guide we have written about the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification for readers in Saudi Arabia. The PMP is awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the USA, and it remains the credential most Saudi employers ask for when they hire or promote project managers in construction, oil and gas, IT and the giga projects.
The guides below cover the questions we hear most often in our Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar classrooms: who is eligible (a four year degree plus 36 months leading projects and 35 contact hours, or a secondary diploma with 60 months), what the 180 question, 240 minute exam looks like, what it costs (PMI quotes about USD 405 for members and USD 575 for non members at the time of writing, plus training), where to sit it at Pearson VUE, and how to keep the credential active with 60 PDUs every three years.
If you already know you want to prepare with us, our PMP course provides the 35 contact hours in classroom or live online format. Otherwise, start with the guide that matches your stage and come back for the rest.

Where can I take the PMP exam in Saudi Arabia?
At Pearson VUE test centers in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar, or online proctored from home or office. Test center seats fill quickly before public holidays, so book as soon as your application is approved.

Three years. You keep it active by earning 60 PDUs per cycle, at least 35 of them education PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle (Ways of Working, Power Skills, Business Acumen), then paying a renewal fee of about USD 60 for members or USD 150 for non members.
