Greater Cairo is where most of our Egyptian CISCP candidates come from, which makes sense: the head offices, the plants in 6th of October City, the forwarders around Cairo Airport and the banks are all within an hour of our office in the Fifth Settlement, traffic permitting. This page is the practical one. Who takes the course here, the three ways you can do it, what it includes, what it costs in EGP and how to enroll.
Who joins the Cairo batches
A typical live batch mixes a demand planner from an FMCG plant in 6th of October City, a buyer from a pharma manufacturer in Badr City or 10th of Ramadan, a vendor management officer from a bank in Garden City or Smart Village, a logistics coordinator from a forwarder near the airport, and a procurement engineer from one of the construction groups working on the New Administrative Capital. Giza sends us people from the tourism supply side and the industrial belt along the Cairo Alexandria desert road. Many are planning a Gulf move within a year or two and want the credential sorted before they leave.
What they have in common is three to ten years in the function, no formal supply chain degree, and a wish to be taken seriously by a multinational or a Gulf recruiter. If that sounds like you, check the eligibility rules; an associate degree or equivalent, or more than three years in purchasing or supply chain, is what IPSCMI asks for.
Three ways to take CISCP in Cairo
Classroom in New Cairo, when scheduled. Our office is at U Venues, Office 239, Second Floor, Tourism Zone, Fifth Settlement, New Cairo. Classroom batches run when enough candidates in Greater Cairo are ready at the same time, and they fill from the New Cairo, Nasr City, Maadi and Heliopolis side first because of the commute. We will not promise fixed dates on a web page; your advisor confirms the next one.
Live online with an instructor. The same trainer, the same 48 hour outline, over a laptop from Maadi, Mohandessin, Giza or anywhere with decent internet. This is the format most working professionals in Cairo end up choosing, because it removes the Ring Road from the equation.
Self paced. Recorded content, the same knowledge checks and practice assessments, at your own speed. Priced lower, and suited to people on shifts or with unpredictable hours.
What the course includes
The Certified International Supply Chain Professional program is certified by IPSCMI and runs to about 48 hours across 16 modules: supply chain strategy and the SCOR model, demand planning and forecasting, procurement, supplier relationship and risk management, sales and operations planning, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, distribution network design, Incoterms 2020, trade payment methods, customs and trade documentation, digital supply chain and analytics, sustainable and resilient supply chains, and a final module on the professional in practice.
At the end of the program you sit the IPSCMI exam, 80 multiple choice questions in three hours, administered through Blue Ocean Academy. The program fee covers the course, the examination and the certification, and your credential is issued digitally with the institute's name on it. CISCM, the manager level, follows the same pattern and many Cairo candidates take the two as a combined fast track.
Picking the right format
If you have a deadline, a Gulf interview in three months, say, take live online or the next classroom batch; a cohort keeps you moving. If your employer is paying and wants attendance records, live delivery is also the easier sell. If you work rotating shifts at a plant or a port, or you already know the material and only need the structure and the exam, self paced is the sensible choice. If you commute from Giza or 6th of October, be realistic about reaching New Cairo on a weekday evening; live online exists for exactly that reason.
Fees in EGP and how to enroll
At the time of writing the Egypt prices are EGP 35,699 for self paced (the standard price is EGP 45,899, currently discounted) and EGP 45,900 for live online or classroom. - Share a copy of your ID or passport, your highest qualification and your CV, plus an experience letter if you qualify on experience.
- Choose the format and pay in EGP. If your bank or company is sponsoring, tell us so the invoice is issued in the right name.
- Receive your access and schedule, attend, then sit the exam at the end of the program.
