CISCP Salary in Egypt: What Certified Professionals Earn
Read this guide in Arabic: اقرأ بالعربية
A certificate does not pay a salary. A role does, inside a sector, at an employer, in a city. So when someone in our New Cairo office asks what a CISCP holder earns in Egypt, we start by explaining what salary surveys and job postings typically show for supply chain roles, then talk about where the certification shifts the number. Everything below is in EGP per month, in ranges, because a single figure would be fiction in an economy where pay bands get revised twice a year.
If you have not yet checked whether you qualify or what it costs, the requirements guide and the cost guide in EGP give you the other half of the picture.
Salary ranges by seniority
Across Egyptian job postings and the salary surveys recruiters share with us, supply chain pay in 2026 tends to fall into these bands. Treat the edges as soft.
| Level | Typical titles | EGP per month, typical range |
|---|---|---|
| Junior, 0 to 3 years | Procurement officer, logistics coordinator, inventory controller | EGP 12,000 to 25,000 |
| Specialist, 3 to 7 years | Supply chain specialist, demand planner, senior buyer, warehouse supervisor | EGP 25,000 to 55,000 |
| Manager, 7 to 12 years | Supply chain manager, procurement manager, logistics manager | EGP 55,000 to 120,000 |
| Senior manager and head of function | Head of supply chain, regional procurement lead | EGP 120,000 to 250,000 and above at multinationals |
CISCP sits most naturally in the specialist band and at the lower edge of the manager band. That is where IPSCMI's eligibility rule (an associate degree or more than three years of purchasing or supply chain experience) places the typical candidate, and it is the stage where a credential most often moves a shortlist decision.
Salary by sector in Egypt
Multinationals, FMCG and pharma. The plants in 6th of October City and 10th of Ramadan and the regional offices in New Cairo and Smart Village pay at the top of each band and add medical cover, transport and a bonus. They also write “supply chain certification preferred” into postings more than anyone else.
Banks. CIB, NBE, Banque Misr and the private banks hire procurement and vendor management officers rather than classic supply chain staff. Base pay sits mid band, but profit share and allowances push total compensation up, and job security is the real attraction.
Large Egyptian groups. Elsewedy, Orascom, Hassan Allam and Talaat Moustafa run heavy procurement and site logistics. Pay is mid to upper band with project and site allowances, especially for roles in the New Administrative Capital or on Suez Canal zone projects.
Government and public sector. Base salaries are well below the private sector, often EGP 8,000 to 20,000 for the same title, offset by stability and pensions. Economic authorities and the companies serving them pay better than ministries.
SMEs and family businesses. Usually EGP 10,000 to 30,000, but with much broader duties; you may run buying, stores and shipping alone, which is excellent experience for the CISCP syllabus and a later jump.
Gulf remote and relocation offers. Egyptians are heavily represented in supply chain teams in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Kuwait and Muscat. Converted to EGP, a mid level package is commonly three to five times the Cairo figure for the same title, before housing is deducted. Remote roles paid in dollars or dirhams are rarer but growing, especially in planning and analytics.
The premium CISCP typically adds
We are careful with this one. In postings that list a supply chain certification as preferred, salary bands tend to run roughly 10 to 20 percent higher than otherwise similar roles that do not, and candidates who hold one are shortlisted more often. That is a correlation, not a guarantee; the certification is usually a signal that the person is already serious. Where we see the clearest effect is in three moments: the first move from a local company to a multinational, the step from specialist to manager, and a Gulf application, where recruiters filter on “certified” in the applicant tracking system before a human reads anything.
What CISCP will not do is turn an EGP 15,000 role into an EGP 40,000 role on its own. If you are told otherwise, be skeptical.
Cairo, Alexandria and the Suez Canal zone
Cairo pays the highest bases because the head offices are here. Alexandria, with its port, petrochemicals and the Borg El Arab industrial zone, typically runs 10 to 20 percent below Cairo for the same title, except in port and shipping line roles where it matches or beats the capital. The Suez Canal Economic Zone (Ain Sokhna, East Port Said) and Damietta are a different story: base pay may be similar to Cairo, but site allowances, transport and accommodation make the total package attractive, and employers struggle to fill planning and warehouse roles there, so a certified candidate has real bargaining power.
What is driving demand
- Investment in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, with new factories, bunkering and logistics parks that need planners, buyers and warehouse managers.
- The New Administrative Capital, where government bodies and the companies serving them are building procurement functions from scratch.
- Export manufacturing under Egypt Vision 2030, from automotive components and cables to textiles and electronics, all of which live or die on inbound logistics.
- Tourism recovery, which pulls through hotel procurement, catering supply and the cargo operations around EgyptAir and Cairo Airport.
- Fintech and ecommerce, where last mile logistics and vendor management teams in Cairo have grown quickly.
Job titles that ask for it
In Egyptian postings the certification appears most often against Supply Chain Specialist, Procurement Specialist, Demand Planner, Logistics Coordinator, Warehouse Supervisor, Vendor Management Officer (banks) and Supply Chain Manager. For manager roles you will also see the manager level credential, CISCM, or ASCM's CSCP mentioned; our CISCP vs CSCP comparison explains when each one matters.
The Gulf relocation angle
For many Egyptian professionals, the honest reason to certify is the next passport stamp. An international credential from a US institute reads the same in Dubai as it does in Maadi, and the course content, Incoterms, trade documentation and payment methods included, is exactly what Gulf trading and logistics employers test in interviews. Our advice is to sit the exam while you are still in Cairo and the fee is in EGP; our Certified International Supply Chain Professional program runs live online, in the New Cairo classroom when scheduled, and self paced.

Frequently asked questions
What is the average CISCP salary in Egypt?
There is no single figure. Salary surveys and postings typically place certified supply chain specialists at roughly EGP 25,000 to 55,000 per month and managers at EGP 55,000 to 120,000, with multinationals at the top of each band. Sector, city and employer matter more than the certificate.
Does CISCP increase salary in Egypt?
Indirectly. Roles that ask for a supply chain certification tend to pay roughly 10 to 20 percent more than similar roles that do not, and certified candidates are shortlisted more often. The certificate alone does not trigger a raise; the move it helps you make does.
Which Egyptian employers pay the most for supply chain roles?
Multinational FMCG and pharma plants, regional offices in New Cairo and Smart Village, and the large Egyptian groups on major projects. Banks pay mid band with strong allowances. Government roles pay less but offer stability.
Is CISCP recognized by Gulf employers?
It is an international credential from a US institute and appears on CVs across supply chain teams in Dubai, Doha and the wider Gulf. Recruiters there commonly filter for certified candidates, so holding one helps you pass the first screen.
Should I take CISCP or CISCM for a higher salary?
CISCP fits specialists and new managers. CISCM is the manager level and suits people who already run a team or are about to. Many of our Cairo candidates take both as a fast track; ask an advisor which order fits your current title.
