The CILT International Diploma in Logistics and Transport, awarded by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK, is the manager level qualification (Level 5) in a ladder that starts with the International Certificate (Level 3) and continues to the International Advanced Diploma (Level 6). CILT is a familiar name in Egyptian port and shipping circles, and the sector around it is busy: the Suez Canal Economic Zone, the ports, rail and road freight, Cairo metro and monorail projects, and 3PLs serving Cairo and Alexandria.
This hub lists our Egypt guides on CILT entry requirements, costs in EGP, salaries, the honest return question, our Cairo course, and the Certificate versus Diploma decision. The Diploma suits managers with around two years of experience or the Certificate behind them; its modules cover management in logistics and transport and supply chain operations, plus electives such as warehousing, transport planning and freight, assessed through assignments and exams. At the time of writing, our Diploma program costs EGP 71,500 live online or classroom and the Certificate EGP 69,000. The fee includes the course, the exam and the certification fee, as the course page states; optional CILT membership is separate.
