CIPS qualifications are formally recognised by the Bahrain Qualifications Authority, mapped to the National Qualifications Framework, a rare regulatory endorsement in the Gulf. Which CIPS level is right for you

Level 3 Advanced Certificate, some business experience, working at the tactical level; four core modules plus one elective, 2 hour OR exams; up to 12 months
Level 4 Diploma, the highest entry point (two years' business experience, two A levels or Level 3); eight core modules built on the Procurement Cycle; about 12 months; the most popular route to MCIPS
Level 5 Advanced Diploma, after Level 4; five core plus three electives on risk, contracts, teams and ESG; 12 to 15 months

Levels 4, 5 and 6 with three years' experience earn eligibility for MCIPS, which CIPS reports over half of employers request when recruiting.

Exams in Bahrain

All CIPS exams are computer based, sat five times a year at CIPS exam venues or by remote invigilation from home or office anywhere in the world (outside the UK, via VICTVS). Objective Response exams pass at 70%; Constructed Response essays at 50%. Study centre students are booked into exams through the centre.
