The MCIPS premium
- 2025 guide: "MCIPS professionals earn 59% more than their non MCIPS colleagues"; in the UK, MCIPS holders earn 52% more.
- 2024 guide: UK average pay for MCIPS £67,558 versus £43,561 for non MCIPS; overall UK average £53,502, ranging from £34,514 in Delivering roles to £94,190 in Influencing roles.
- Employer demand: over 52% (2025) to 54% (2024) of employers request MCIPS or study towards it when recruiting.
Trends
The 2024 guide reported an average global pay increase of 8%, and the 2026 guide notes an average rise of 10.1% in Asia; recent editions also chart bonus eligibility, hiring and retention trends, in demand skills, and how professionals rate the value of professional qualifications. Across the Gulf, procurement remains one of the best paid corporate functions as government and giga project spend keeps demand for certified professionals high.
