What is Tamkeen, and how do I check my eligibility?
Tamkeen, Bahrain's Labour Fund, offers job seekers training, professional certification and wage support. Check your own eligibility with Tamkeen directly.
The Bahrain eGovernment Portal says Tamkeen's National Employment Program 2.0 gives wage support for up to 36 months to Bahraini job seekers and fresh graduates registered with the Ministry of Labour. The Daily Tribune reports that Tamkeen launched its 2026 to 2030 strategy in February 2026, with building Bahraini skills among its objectives.
Support rules can change, so confirm them on the Tamkeen site.
Read the standards in your sector alongside the course
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce standards store lists Bahraini standards and technical regulations beside Gulf (GSO) and international standards, organized by sector.
Open your sector there while you study, and note the standards your own site or department already works to. If your role is quality or compliance, the Certificate in Quality Management and Risk Assessment, with CILT as the body, suits quality managers and officers, and risk and compliance professionals.
Which course fits your role?
Use the roles each course page names as your guide.
- Supervisors and team leaders: Mastering Kaizen or Mastering 5S Methodology.
- Quality managers and process engineers: Mastering Total Quality Management.
- Supply chain staff and lean practitioners: Mastering Value Stream Mapping.
- Operations professionals and manufacturing teams: the Mastering Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
- Project managers and process improvement professionals: the Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
The Black Belt does not suit you if you want a single method such as Kaizen or 5S for your own team.
