Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) in Egypt: Guides, Costs, Exam and Courses
Read this page in Arabic: اقرأ بالعربية
The Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) credential from ASCM, formerly APICS, is the logistics specialist's certification. Egypt has one of the busiest logistics corridors in the world: the Suez Canal and its economic zone, the Ain Sokhna and East Port Said terminals, the ports of Alexandria and Damietta, 3PLs and freight forwarders in Cairo and Alexandria, fast growing last mile and e commerce fulfilment, and cold chain for agricultural exports. CLTD gives the people running these operations a shared, international vocabulary.
On this hub you will find our Egypt guides on CLTD eligibility, the total cost in EGP, the exam and how to book it, salaries for certified logistics managers, the honest return question, and studying with us in Cairo. The exam has 150 questions over 3.5 hours, scored from 200 to 350 with 300 to pass, delivered through Pearson VUE at a test center or online. At the time of writing, our live online or classroom CLTD program costs EGP 154,800, and the fee includes the course, the exam and the certification fee, as the course page states. ASCM's own fees in US dollars, with member discounts, apply only if you study on your own and pay ASCM directly.
