What do Etihad Rail and Emiratisation mean for logistics work in the UAE?

If your work is distribution or transport, the Certificate in Distribution and Transportation is a matching course. If you are Emirati and looking for work in the private sector, read the Emiratisation rules.

Etihad Rail is the developer and operator of the UAE national railway, a network designed to connect cities and industries across the country. The Certificate in Distribution and Transportation suits distribution and transport managers, fleet and delivery operations managers, and warehouse and dispatch supervisors.

A UAE Cabinet decision requires private sector companies with 50 or more employees to raise the Emirati share of their skilled jobs by 2 percent each year, for an overall 10 percent increase by 2026. If you are Emirati and want one of those skilled jobs, choose the course that fits the job. For a whole team, send a corporate enquiry.

Where can you study logistics in the UAE?

You can study online, at a Blue Ocean office in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, or in a class arranged locally. An advisor can tell you whether a class can be arranged near you.

Each course page states its fee and format. For self paced programs, check the hours listed before you decide.
