Who takes Six Sigma and quality courses in Egypt
Our Egyptian learners in this domain are mostly engineers and supervisors: quality engineers, production and process engineers, maintenance planners and shift supervisors at manufacturers in Greater Cairo, 10th of Ramadan, Sadat City, Borg El Arab and the Suez Canal Economic Zone. - Green Belt is the level most Egyptian employers ask for when they advertise continuous improvement or quality engineer roles. The Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from ACI, listed at EGP 35,699 self paced and EGP 47,000 live online, teaches you to lead a DMAIC project from charter to control plan, with the exam administered through Blue Ocean Academy.
- Black Belt is for people who will lead several projects, coach Green Belts and own a site or department improvement program. The Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt adds advanced statistics and change leadership.
- Short Lean courses such as Mastering Kaizen and Mastering 5S Methodology fix one practice at a time, and Fundamentals of Operations Excellence is free at the time of writing for anyone new to the field.
Our rule of thumb: if you have never run an improvement project, start with Yellow Belt or a Lean course. If you have been part of projects and want to lead one, go straight to Green Belt. Black Belt makes sense once you have a Green Belt project or two behind you. Formats and pricing in EGP
Self paced courses are recorded and start the day you enrol, with the access period shown on the course page. Live online Green Belt and Black Belt batches run with an instructor over video, usually in the evening on Cairo time so that plant staff on shifts can attend, with recordings available. Classroom batches run at our New Cairo office in the Fifth Settlement when enough learners register for the same program.
Prices on the course pages are in EGP for visitors from Egypt and reflect any discount applied at the time of writing. The course page states what the fee includes; for the ACI belts the exam is administered through us at the end of the program. Prices can change, so confirm the current EGP figure with an advisor before you budget.
Employer sponsorship is very common here because the return is easy to show. Manufacturers, banks and hospitals in Egypt regularly fund Green Belt and Black Belt for staff who will lead savings projects, and we issue quotations and tax invoices in EGP addressed to the employer. Quality inspector, quality engineer and process technician roles are commonly advertised at EGP 10,000 to 20,000 per month. Continuous improvement specialists, senior quality engineers and Lean coordinators with a Green Belt and three to six years of experience generally see EGP 25,000 to 45,000. Quality managers, operational excellence managers and Black Belts leading site programs are often in the range of EGP 50,000 to 90,000, and directors of quality or operational excellence at multinationals can exceed EGP 100,000. Pharmaceutical, automotive and multinational food plants sit at the top of each range.

Do I need a statistics background for Green Belt?

The ACI Green Belt and Black Belt exams are administered through Blue Ocean Academy at the end of the program, either online or in class, so you do not need to travel to a separate test centre.

At the time of writing, Fundamentals of Operations Excellence and Mastering Ethics in Operations are free self paced courses. They are a good first step before paying for a belt.
Can a whole team or plant be trained together?
