Online courses in UAE come in two formats: self paced courses you complete on your own schedule, and live online programs that meet as a class. If you work in the UAE, let your working pattern decide the format and your field decide the course. Two self paced starting points are Mastering Aviation in AI Era and Mastering Kaizen. Which online courses in UAE are free?
Free self paced courses include Fundamentals of Aviation, Fundamentals of Operations Excellence, Mastering Ethics in Aviation, Mastering Ethics in Sales, Fundamentals of Finance and Supply Chain Management Fundamentals.
These free courses are Foundation level, and their course pages list about 45 to 48 hours of study. Fundamentals of Aviation suits students, recent graduates and airport service staff. Fundamentals of Finance suits early career finance professionals, supervisors and managers. Mastering Ethics in Sales is written for sales professionals, account managers and business development executives.
Self paced or live online: which format fits you?
Pick self paced when you want to fit study around your working week. Pick live online when you want a class and a fixed program.
- Self paced: paid courses such as Mastering Kaizen, Balanced Scorecard and Warehousing and Distribution. Their course pages list about 46 to 47 hours of study.
- Live online: programs such as Project Management Professional, CIPS Levels 3, 4 and 5, Certified Supply Chain Professional and the CILT logistics and transport qualifications.
The CIPS fee covers training only. CIPS sets its own exam fees, which you confirm with CIPS. For the other programs. The exam is separate from the course fee, so ask an advisor what it costs.
Certified Human Resource Manager, Certified International Procurement Manager and Certified International Procurement Professional have live online classes. For these, ask an advisor which format is available.
Which online courses suit aviation, logistics, quality and safety work in the UAE?
Match the course to the sector you work in, then read the roles each course lists.
Aviation: Dubai International handled 95.2 million passengers in 2025, and Abu Dhabi Airports recorded more than 33 million across five airports the same year. Mastering Aviation in AI Era suits airport and airline personnel and operations managers. Mastering Ethics in Aviation is free and suits safety and compliance personnel.
Logistics: Jafza reported more than 650 logistics companies in its free zone in 2024. Fundamentals of IMDG suits port and warehouse personnel and compliance teams. Warehousing and Distribution suits inventory planners and warehouse managers.
Quality and safety: Mastering Total Quality Management suits quality managers and process engineers, while Permit to Work (PTW) Professional suits HSE officers and maintenance supervisors, and HSE Professional suits safety supervisors and plant managers.

- Buyers and procurement officers: CIPS Level 3 or Level 4. Procurement managers and senior buyers: CIPS Level 5.
- Supply chain, sourcing and inventory professionals: Certified Supply Chain Professional, with ASCM as the awarding body.
- Logistics coordinators and freight forwarding executives: International Certificate in Logistics and Transport. Logistics and transport professionals at mid level: International Diploma in Logistics and Transport.
- HR managers and talent acquisition specialists: Certified Human Resource Manager.
- First time managers and team leaders: Leadership Essentials, self paced at AED 399.
