What are CHRM and CHRP, and which should you take in Qatar?
CHRM is the Certified Human Resource Manager and CHRP is the Certified Human Resource Management Professional, both from ACI.

The programs that prepare you for HRCI exams list more study hours than CHRM and CHRP. The Associate Professional in Human Resources International lists about 146 hours, the Professional in Human Resources International about 182 hours, and the Senior Professional in Human Resources International about 262 hours.
The Global Professional in Human Resources lists about 272 hours. Live online runs from USD 2,100 for the Associate program to USD 2,880 for the Global program. HRCI sets the exams and does not run or endorse training. Blue Ocean is an HRCI Certification Prep Provider.
How does Qatarisation affect the HR course you choose?
Qatar's Law No. 12 of 2024 requires private sector employers to give priority to Qatari nationals and children of Qatari women, and to hire expatriates only when no suitable candidate from that group is available. If you work in HR at a private company in Qatar, that law is the background to your hiring and training plans.
Under the law, the Ministry of Labour prepares the Qatarisation plan, and employers must notify vacancies and train Qatari staff, as Clyde and Co sets out.
