The short answer
Build the team's training the way you build a territory plan: by role. New reps need the whole process once, properly (Fundamentals). Consumer and inside-sales teams need B2C; account teams need B2B and key account skills; everyone who quotes a price needs Negotiation; channel managers need Channels; the leaders need Strategy. Add AI in Sales this year because the tools have changed what a day of selling looks like, and Ethics in Sales because targets and incentives are where trust leaks. If your "sales" problem is really a service problem, Customer Service Excellence is in the table too. Ten self-paced courses, 45 to 49 guided hours each, Blue Ocean certificates of completion.
What a sales academy needs
Four layers, in order. A common process so that "qualified", "discovery" and "proposal" mean the same thing on every call: Fundamentals of Sales Management, even for experienced hires who learned a different vocabulary. A role track: B2C or B2B, prospecting, channels, depending on who sells what to whom. Negotiation, separately and after the role track, because it is where margin is won or given away and it deserves its own 49 hours. Strategy for the leaders, so that targets, territories, pricing and forecasts are designed rather than inherited. Across all four sit two culture courses, Ethics and Customer Service, and one tooling layer, which for many Indian mid-market companies means Zoho. The templates further down show how this plays out for four kinds of team.
The ten courses
Foundations
Fundamentals of Sales Management (48 hours, Foundation level) introduces early-career sellers to the habits and process discipline of modern selling: the new world of selling, buying psychology, process and pipeline foundations, prospecting and lead generation, qualification, CRM and the modern toolkit, discovery and needs analysis, presenting value, objection handling and basic negotiation, closing and follow-up, metrics and forecasting, key account growth, and a first look at leading and coaching. Course page.
Consumer selling
Mastering B2C Sales Excellence (47 hours) is built for the empowered consumer: consumer behaviour and the science of buying decisions, the B2C mindset, emotional influence, first interactions and trust, active listening and need discovery, solution selling, customer experience, handling objections, pricing and closing on value, and post-sale loyalty and daily sales discipline. For retail, consumer finance, telecom, education and inside-sales teams. Course page.
Business-to-business and key accounts
Mastering B2B Sales Excellence (45 hours) builds consultative capability for account managers and business developers: the B2B landscape and the modern revenue function, consultative discovery, advanced listening and stakeholder understanding, solution selling, value quantification and ROI storytelling, executive presence and business communication, strategic account management, pipeline management and proposals, and negotiation. The key account skills live here. Course page.
Mastering Social Selling and LinkedIn Prospecting (45 hours) gives prospectors a system: how B2B buying changed, a buyer-centric mindset, profile optimisation, authority through personal branding, engaging with content, identifying and prioritising target accounts, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator for research and engagement, the social-selling technology stack, outreach and performance tracking. Course page.
Negotiation
Mastering Negotiation Skills (49 hours) protects value instead of conceding it: the psychology and behavioural science at the table, BATNA, ZOPA and principled negotiation, structured preparation, buyer priorities and decision drivers, questioning and listening in negotiation, defending value and margin under pressure, persuasion and emotional intelligence, difficult buyer behaviours, and ethical practice. The longest course in the set, for good reason. Course page.
Channels and strategy
Mastering Management of Sales Channels (45 hours) is for channel managers and partner teams: channel models, direct, indirect and hybrid go-to-market, channel strategy aligned to target markets, partner identification and selection, recruitment frameworks, distributor and reseller structures, onboarding and enablement, channel economics and incentives, pricing and margin across channels, conflict and territory overlap, and omnichannel orchestration. Course page.
Mastering Sales Strategy (46 hours) is for sales leaders: from transactional to strategic partnership, market and customer opportunity analysis, ideal customer profile and buyer personas, value propositions and positioning, revenue planning and forecasting discipline, territory, account and opportunity strategy, route to market and channel mix, pricing strategy and value-based negotiation, playbooks and performance governance. Course page. Leaders who need the people side as well should look at leadership and management development programmes.
AI and ethics
Mastering AI in Sales (46 hours) shows where AI helps and where judgment stays human: AI literacy for sales, conversational AI and chatbots, lead identification and predictive scoring, personalised communication at scale, AI in discovery conversations, pipeline management and forecasting, CRM intelligence and the AI-enabled stack, high-impact proposals and generative AI. Course page.
Mastering Ethics in Sales (46 hours, Foundation level) handles the pressures that actually cause misconduct: truthfulness and responsible persuasion, ethics in pricing, discounting and offer design, qualification and recommendation integrity, incentives and target pressure, gifts, hospitality, bribery and third-party risk, conflicts of interest, and customer data, CRM integrity and AI. Course page.
Service
Mastering Customer Service Excellence (47 hours) raises the quality and consistency of every interaction: service foundations, customer expectations and psychology, service quality models and measurement, communication, emotional intelligence, difficult customers and service recovery, customer journey and experience design, voice of the customer, technology, AI and digital experience, and omnichannel and self-service. For service, account-care and inside-sales teams whose "sales" numbers depend on retention. Course page.
The Zoho tooling track
Three Zoho certification courses, delivered as coached programmes, cover the tooling side for teams whose selling runs on Zoho: Certified Zoho Sales and Marketing Professional, Certified Zoho Sales and Marketing Consultant and Certified Zoho Customer Support Professional. Ask the advisor for their scope and prerequisites. They are tooling courses; the ten courses above are selling courses, and most teams need both.

Self-paced delivery means a template runs on your sales calendar; most teams take one course per six to eight weeks with a manager debrief, and quieter months carry the longer courses. Communication fundamentals for the same people are in soft skills training for employees in India.
Delivery and licensing in India
All ten sales courses are self-paced on our learning platform, 45 to 49 guided hours each, with progress visible to the sponsor when licensed for a team. Companies license a template, combine it with in-house workshops, role-plays and manager coaching, and receive completion and feedback reporting; see corporate training in India. Individuals enrol from the course pages, where tuition is shown in Indian rupees for visitors in India. Advisors are available in person at our New Delhi, Noida, Pune, Hyderabad and Kochi centres.
